"The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon." ~Robert Cromier

Dear Reader,

Welcome to The Inkwell, the home of the Inklets.

The Inklets is a creative writing society dedicated to providing a comfortable and supportive atmosphere in which members can learn, share their work, receive constructive yet friendly feedback and contribute to the work of others.

The Inkwell was created to provide a wealth of information for visitors to our community, and to act as the base for our members; a sort of cosy common room, if you will! Whether you’d like to use our tutorials and exercises, read our work, have your own work displayed or chat and receive feedback on the forum, you are very welcome. All we ask is that you respect our members and their work.

The Inklets believe that writing should be a fun, unrestricted and sociable pastime, a way for you to express yourself and your ideas creatively. We do not strive for perfection, only for production - and consumption!

So feel free to take a stroll around the Inkwell, leave a message on our forum and browse through our galleries. Should you decide to join us as a member, free of charge, you’ll find all the information you need.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

~Albert Einstein
